Extra money with a paper route?

Earn extra money with a paper route?

Well there are many ways to make a few extra dollars to help with the bills and have a few extra dollars every month.

A few people asked me about delivering the local newspaper in their area, would it be worth it?

I can give you some in site into this as i have done it as a way to earn extra money.

However there are pros and cons to it ,just like anything else.

The things you need to know are as follows

PRO
  • Job usually takes about three hours daily and can be done before going to second job.
  • You are all most always done before you have to get the kids up for school.
  • you are your own boss
  • extra money monthly, can be directly deposited to your bank.
CONS
  • you have to buy your own rubber bands and plastic bags
  • Repetitive wear and tear on you vehicle like opening and closing a door 100 times a day, breaks and tire wear.
  • Job is every day with out a break, sick ,rain,snow,ice-doesn't matter you have no day off.
You need to consider
  • How much does the route pay?
  • How much fuel will it take?
  • Will you be able to get enough sleep ?
  • Can you fit it into your daily routine?

A lot of carriers have made good money by doing down routes or open routes on top of their own. Should you decide to do this, you need to consider taking on the open routes also as pay is higher per paper on a route that is not filled.

It is a job that is nice in the respect you are your own boss, when you get into your vehicle to deliver your papers its just you or whom ever you have helping you. That aspect is kinda nice.

You need to keep a record of,
  • mileage on the route
  • cost of rubber bands and bags
  • any related expenses to doing the job as they are all TAX write offs.
All in all its not a job i would recommend for long term, unless you are retired, on disability, or do not have children.

Many carriers are going to school so it works for them to do it then go to school(college).

You can take your children with you on weekends as many carriers do and pay them a little money to help, and they learn also. This is up to you.

In the end, should you decide to take the job ,talk to the supervisors and find out which route is the closest to wear you live(save gas) and one that pays well.

Routes under 100 papers are not worth your time or fuel, don't bother.

I hope this helps you in your decision as to weather you want to do this or not. Age really doesn't matter as long as your an adult, i seen people from their 20's to their 70's delivering papers.

Its a new year, start making more!

Its 2014  new year = new opportunities

Well everyone, its a new year and that means a fresh exciting new start.

I hope your holiday was safe, and enjoyable.

When i started this blog i did so with only one thing on my mind. get people who want to better themselves and make some extra money, good worthwhile programs and ides to help them out.

Look whats new that has  been added so far this year!

I have been adding to this blog as i can and update it weekly.

New this year!

I just put up a HOT DOWNLOADS page were you can get your hands on some of the best money making information out there at drastically low prices. How? why?

How, i searched the net with my spare time this last holiday to find some awesome money saving information. Most of it is selling for far more than i am able to get it to you. A few have all ready asked me if the information is good for so cheap. Fair question--answer is yes. I am not a GURU, and i am not here to rip you off with stupidly high GURU prices. I also bought the rights to some information and i can resell it lower. This means you save BIG TIME!

Some programs will come with master resell rights so they are what you call no brainers. You buy them, use them, resell them, make your money back and more.

Thanks, ADMIN (Greg)
